For more than 30 years, the Wendy’s family has helped to raise critical funds that go towards advancing Dave Thomas’ vision that every child has a permanent home and a loving family.
Funds raised through The Dave 2026 empower the Foundation to continue raising awareness about the urgent need for foster care adoption, advocate for adoption benefits in the workplace and expand the Foundation’s life-changing programs, including Wendy’s Wonderful Kids®.
To date, we have helped find forever families for more than 14,300 children in the United States through the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program. While we have made incredible progress, there is still so much more work to do to serve the number of youth waiting to be adopted from foster care.
